shipping

city bird orders are shipped USPS, either priority mail or first class depending upon the weight of the package and the destination. if you live locally (midtown detroit) and would like to arrange to pick up your items, please email emily before you place your order to make arrangements to do so.

our shipping rates are based upon total order amount. you may wish to check the chart to the right to determine your shipping charge before completing your order.

we do not currently have standard shipping rates for destinations outside of the U.S. and canada. if you live in another country and would like to place an order, please contact us for a shipping quote.

when to expect your order

we will ship your order in 5 – 10 business days. transit times usually average 2 to 7 business days after the package is shipped, but can take longer. transit times are provided by the carrier (USPS), and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.

payment

city bird currently accepts credit card and paypal payments. our shopping cart and checkout system are set up securely through paypal, the internet's most trusted financial transaction service. you do not need a paypal account to make a payment with a credit card. paypal also allows you to "write an eCheck" at checkout, if you prefer.
